Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo space tourism craft crashed in the California desert killing one of it's pilots and injuring the other. The incident ocurred during a manned powered test flight over the Mojave Desert north of Los Angeles when it experienced what the company described as "a serious anomaly".
